Mia officially started her violin lessons in Tokyo. We found a teacher right next to Mia's school. The instructor teaches the Suzuki Method of violin. Luckily, it's not as strict as I had heard. Mia played her violin all by herself today and she was truly great. Mia has a great sense of rhythm and pitch. I was so proud of my little girl.
The teacher has two small children of her own and understands little kids well.
Mia is so happy to finally be playing her violin. We practiced again tonight before bed. She is completely enraptured by the violin. All she wants to listen to is violin music. Wow! Who would have thought that my little monkey would be so in love with the classics?
