Easter Party

All good Easter egg coloring parties start with a hearty yakisoba lunch, right? Here's Mia and her pals saying grace before lunch. They do this everyday at school so they are well practised. From right to left: Mia, Aru, Ray and Mayu.


Here the moms are saying their own version of grace.

None of our Japanese friends had ever colored Easter eggs before. It was quite the novelty for them.

They quickly learned the ropes.

Luckily enough, the Easter Bunny just happened to be in Tokyo. He came and hid eggs and candies for the kids. Mayu-chan carried around a toy rabbit while filling her bag with candy eggs. It was also our friend's first Easter egg hunt.
