Nozawa Onsen---Part Two

We went back to Nozawa Onsen during Mia's spring break from school. She was so happy that her favorite waiter, Atsushi-chan, was still working there. These two were hilarious, playing jokes on each other, laughing and singing.




When we left to come home, Mia drew him a picture and he gave her a corsage. Atsushi was like a cool, hip Japanese uncle to her. She promised to see him next year during ski season and he promised to be waiting for her. Too funny.



The weather was sunny and the snow good.

Mia and Rhett loved taking the gondola up the mountain together.

Mia enjoyed ski school again.

How can you not enjoy ski school when one of the other students is a big, puffy dog?

Mia and "Snoopy" had a great time.

At the end of skiing we rode the "magic carpet" down the mountain into town. We hit an indoor water park/hot springs. Mia and Aaron rode the water slide until it finally was closed. Mia lovingly named the slide the "master blaster", she cannot wait to go back next year.
