Today was a dream come true for me. For those of you who do not know what
Sanrio is... it's the Japanese company that makes my beloved Hello Kitty. In Japan she is called Kitty-
chan. Twice a year they have a sale with 60% off the marked price of goods. To go to this sale you must be friend or family of a
Sanrio employee. They only allow a small select group of people to attend this event. Luckily, one of the moms at Mia's school invited us to join her today. The sale was held in the
Sanrio building. I was especially impressed by the Hello Kitty tile on the floors...

Here's that small select group. We called ourselves "Team Kitty". I see these moms on a daily basis. I think I was invited because of the free advertising I did with my shirt.

Here's the scene of the crime! We were one of the first groups let in the sale--so this picture looks calm. By the time we left, this room was packed with ravenous moms. Standing room only!

It was hard for me to pass up the many puffy incarnations of Kitty-
chan...

They were even selling Hello Kitty motorcycle helmets.

Kitty-Chan
ga dai
suki (I love Hello Kitty).
