Shibuya's Children's Hall

This is on the way home from the Children's Hall. My cousin Travis pushed them all home on this little buggy. You've already met Maiyu & Mia. Here they are with a friend Shodai-kun. Rhett's stroller became their little tour bus.

The Children's Hall is a free place for kids to play and explore. They have lessons for cooking, music and origami. There is indoor playground equipment, a small movie theater, a cafeteria, and Japanese tatami rooms...plus a lot more we didn't get time to see.

Here's the gang kicking back in Yukata---which are light summer festival kimonos that people wear to shrines. Speaking of summer festivals, the next one is Tanabata on July 7th. Here's a link to more info on it if you're interested. I'll try to get some pictures of the celebration.

Mia was so proud to be wearing a yukata. She is constantly noticing women in their kimonos and commenting on how beautiful they are.

Rhett did his best to keep his yukata on, luckily the kids helped him out.
