Sanrio Puroland!!!

Here's a shout out to all the Hello Kitty fans out there. A mere 45 minute train ride from Tokyo takes you to the Hello Kitty mecca---Sanrio Puroland---a Hello Kitty-themed park.

We went with our friends Asa and daughter Mayu...(and also Margaret from Alaska).

We rode the train through the main attraction which takes you by the various Sanrio characters...

We took in a show...

...and had a lot of one-on-one kitty time.

U*SA*HA*NA was also there for pictures and hugs.

The park had shrines, a hello kitty cafeteria, and plenty of merchandise.

The crowning glory of the visit was Mia and I getting our picture taken with our heroine.
