Father's Day 2008

Today Aaron & I started off Father's Day by running the Tamagawa 8K race.

Aaron flew through the race without a hitch.

And what makes a father a father? Kids of course...

Two families joined us for an afternoon of playing in the pool and enjoying ice cold margaritas...
The dads we celebrated with were Martin (left), my cowboy, and Bill (right).

After the pool, the kids piled onto the couch for a movie.

Thank goodness for dads evrywhere---here's to you!

What was Aaaron's time? I've just begun running for the first time in my life. I am a fat old man. But I love it. I'm training for the Portland Marathon. I ran my first 10k on Memorial Day, but hurt myself. No more races for me until I'm in better shape!

(Ironically, Bernie Deazley said something about Aaron and running on Sunday, but I didn't pay attention because I didn't know Aaron ran. Now I wish I could remember what he said...)
