Karaoke with Miyuki and Laura!

Last week a dear friend, Laura Periman, came to Tokyo for a week with her daughter. My friend Miyuki really wanted Laura to have the quintessential Japanese experience...KARAOKE!



The joy about karaoke in Japan is that you get a private room to make a fool of yourself in...



...whereas karaoke in the states is usually at a bar and you get to make a fool out of yourself in front of everyone there.




In your own booth you can shake your tamborine, order food and drinks...and let it all hang out.



Each room has a TV, karaoke machine, and a long list of music to choose from.



Our last song was Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer". Suprisingly enough, it was a great song to belt out in karaoke! Thanks for the memories Miyuki and Laura!
