Halloween in Tokyo is completely different than in the states. Here, EVERYONE wears elaborate costumes. Also, when you trick-or-treat, the kids politely ask how many pieces of candy the may have. Halloween is still not common in Japan, I only know of two neighborhoods in Tokyo that celebrate it (I'm glad ours is one of them).

I love that everyone dresses up for Halloween. Not 1/2 arsed like here in the US.
